Admissions

If you have decided that the Pacific University School of Pharmacy is the right place for you, the next step is to apply. We participate in PharmCAS, a centralized application service for pharmacy schools (pharmcas.org). Please visit the School of Pharmacy website for further admissions information.

Interviews If you meet the criteria, we may want to meet you in person. An interview gives you the opportunity to determine your fit with the program and allows our Admission Committee to continue to assess essential skills and traits, which may or may not be reflected on your application. We evaluate areas such as your knowledge of the profession, motivation toward a career as a pharmacist, ability to think clearly and logically, team-building skills, self-confidence and verbal expression of ideas.

Prerequisite Coursework Prior to enrollment, you must complete the following prerequisite courses. We require a grade of C or higher for all prerequisites; courses taken pass/fail will not be accepted. Courses taken at a college or university on the quarter system, use the following formula to convert your credits to semester hours: divide your quarter hours by 1.5 = semester hours (example: 12 quarter hours/1.5 = 8 semester hours)

You will be responsible for costs associated with the evaluation of any prerequisite courses taken outside the United States. We do not grant advanced standing for any course in the curriculum. All outstanding prerequisite courses must be completed before enrollment.

Complete the unofficial prerequisite worksheet (pdf) to see if you are on track to begin our program!

How to Apply Visit Pharmcas.org to complete the PharmCAS application.

To Arrange an Appointment Please contact the Office of Graduate Admissions if you would like to schedule a campus visit. We are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for university holidays.
