Rigor with Reward
Envision Your Career Pharmacy is a dynamic field where knowledge is growing rapidly and challenging you to continuously learn. It also offers tremendous career flexibility, with opportunities in community pharmacies, ambulatory clinics, hospitals, long-term-care pharmacies, research, academia, government and public health. Within these settings you will create optimum therapeutic care plans, provide patients with medication information and counseling, and serve as a medical information resource.
Learning That Challenges You The School of Pharmacy’s three-year program and five-year program will challenge you in new ways. Our curriculum is based on comprehensive groups of content, with frequent evaluations and examinations. It’s designed to help you fully understand concepts and apply this knowledge to patient care and treatment. You will spend six hours per day in class and one day every other week in introductory pharmacy experiences in various practice settings. You are also appointed to a team of students and faculty mentors for the entire year, enabling you to quickly form working relationships and build professional skills.
