A Day in the Life

Prospective students often ask us, “What is a day in the life of a student really like? How many hours do they study? Do they bring lunch or eat in the dining hall?” So we went straight to the source and asked some of our current students about a typical day. Madeline Fry

Dr. Fry practices pharmacy as an ambulatory care pharmacist. She is an Associate Professor and completed her fourth year as the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education. She is one of the main administrators in the SOP and runs experiential education.

Pacific University School of Pharmacy’s environment which fosters long-lasting connections with students provided me the foundation I needed to reach my professional goals following Graduation. My relationships with faculty were personalized and always growth-focused which helped me reach my goals of residency training in both a PGY-1 and PGY-2 program.
